As part of major inspections and certification requirements, we conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to assess the condition of key structural elements within your EWP.

WHAT WE OFFER

Eddy current testing

Magnetic particle crack detection

Visual inspection in accordance with AS1171 and LTM-20-04

These methods are used to detect surface and sub-surface cracking around booms, welds, knuckles, pivot points, and other high-stress areas.

All testing is performed by trained personnel using calibrated equipment, and is documented with formal inspection reports accepted by certifying bodies and insurers.RR

Our Rebuild Process

Initial Review

We assess the boom and prepare the test plan based on your EWP’s service history and condition.

NDT Application

Using eddy current and magnetic particle inspection (MPI), we scan for hidden cracks and stress faults.

Report Issued

You receive a clear, written report outlining the results of the inspection, including images and observations.

Advisory

If any issues are detected, we’ll guide you through the next steps—whether it’s a minor repair or a full rebuild.
